Does someone have a TCL3 charger that they could measure the height of for me? I have the TRC3 measured at 2 15/16". But I would like to know if the TRC3 is shorter.

I measure mine at 72mm including the rubber feet.
That's 2.83464567 inches; I'll leave you to work out the fraction equivalent!
