Nice work Rembo. The only thing I would do differently would be to place the two small drawers on the side or not at all because having it pop open or even drop while sleeping would be an unpleasant surprise. The overall idea is very creative though. I might have to borrow some ideas if I move forward with a bed for my child.

I'd consider recessed handles for the drawers ... don't want a knob shaped impression in the back of a little one's head when they're sitting up reading.

I think it looks awesome. I agree with this statement about the knobs, someone's head is going to hit them eventually.
