Benchdogs.co.uk MK2 fence for MFT style tops

Looks like Benchdogs fixed an issue with their fence system that I was looking for a work around. I ordered the old one on 3/20 and still haven’t received it. Put an order in for the new fence so it’ll be another month past whatever the ship date ends up being I imagine. Kind of a bummer for me but this new fence looks great and can be calibrated To account for the rail being in place.

Looks like an interesting product.  I presume this would replace the MFT fence. They seem to offer a 1000 mm, 1250 mm and a 1450 mm fence. Any idea [member=69305]KelleyCrafts[/member] what the use case would be for the different lengths?  Which length are you getting?

They offer imperial sizes as well. I went with the 39" fence. I use a standard MFT3 and figure 39" is plenty to register stock against. I imagine the longer ones are for the people with custom larger MFT designed tables. I don't need the fence to hang off the edge a bunch, the stock fence already does that and I walk by the MFT and scrape myself plenty on the thing. I will probably cut the fence flush with the longest edge when it comes so it doesn't hang off.

Thank you for the information.  I have been waiting on UJK Parf fence but no available dates as of yet.  If you live in the UK you can do a 'backorder order'.  But they don't offer that to US based customers so who knows when we will get the op.  Has there been any issue ordering from this UK based company?  I have ordered several times from Axminster, in the UK, and it has worked out great.  Sometimes better prices and always faster shipping than some US based stores.

No trouble so far from here. It's slow. I'm not sure if that's the virus' doing or they just select the slowest shipping available for cost measures.

I ordered the MK1 fence on March 20 and still haven't received it. I have tracking for it but it hasn't updated in a week. So no clue when it will get here.

This MK2 fence is a preorder. Limited stock first run says it'll ship April 30th. Then next batch May 30th. I ordered just an hour or two after getting the email and I ordered imperial which is probably less popular so I'm guessing I'll be in the first batch, not sure of course.

Either way, prices are very reasonable and shipping is reasonable as well although slow. I can still woodwork without this stuff so it's not the end of the world.

I ordered the mk1 and some dogs about 2 weeks ago and already received them in Atlanta GA. Shipping stated delivery would be April 17th so it must have made it through customs faster than normal.

Dang big hawk. I must have gotten the slow line. Mine says it’ll be here by the 14th so I guess we’ll see.
