I also use a CT 15 with a non-Festool miter saw (Hercules), which doesn't have soft start, and I have no issues with the built-in plug. If capacity is a concern, just wait a few months for the upcoming CT 25, which has 25 liter capacity and will sell for $100 more than the CT15, assuming it makes it to the States. CT 25 is available in Europe starting in May.
