Best inexpensive drawer slides for LR32 / Euro 32mm system?

I’m possibly not explaining myself very well. Firstly, I’m in the UK, and am very used to system32 as it’s pretty much the only thing you see if you fit a kitchen, or any other cabinet for that matter.

I understand that sys32 is a common standard and finding compatible stuff isn’t that difficult (especially over here), but it feels like it’s sometimes used without any thought as to why. Or, sometimes people put the cart before the horse when designing cabinets, by choosing a hole pattern before they choose the thing that’s going to screw into those holes.

I first wrote a long explanation about the benefits for using the 32mm system.

But reconsidered my response and deleted it.

You can mount your drawer slides up side down and back wards if it you want and meets your needs.

Bottom line is there are no drawer slide police at least yet.
Yes, I saw your original post before I wrote my response above. I guess that the benefits that are given here by you and others seem to me to be about standardisation, which I can see is extremely useful if you're buying cabinets and hardware to install in them. You don't want to have a situation where you have to buy everything from a single manufacturer because everyone is creating their own proprietary hole patterns.

But as a DIYer making your own cabinets, that issue is removed. You obviously won't be making your own drawer slides, but you can make your hole pattern match the slides, no matter what standard they use, or even if they're completely proprietary.

No, there are no drawer slide police, and I would hope I'm not coming across as suggesting otherwise. People are free to do whatever they want. I'm simply curious why someone might choose the hole pattern before they choose the drawer slides. (and by 'hole pattern' in this instance, I'm talking about the horizontal hole spacing, not vertical - because that's the only hole spacing affected by the slide choice. Obviously a non-sys32 slide works fine on 32mm vertically spaced holes).
