I have always been very pleased with Bob Marino's online shop. The spot that ships his merchandise is in Ohio I believe and always does an excellent job of packing to keep the contents safe.

True of most online dealers, as long as you are not in their state, or the state where their employees work from or where their warehouse is.

I have ordered from all three mentioned above.

I have gotten great service form both Bob Marino & ToolNut. Both quickly resolved any problems I have had.
Bob Marino's people go above & beyond when it comes to packing a shipment. They do not spare any bubble wrap.

Amazon is OK as long as you do not have a problem. Returns & exchanges are easy, but you are out of luck if you need anything else. Amazon's packing of shipments is awful.

Bob Marino is my go to dealer - Tool Nut as back up - great service from both - I am always looking for best deal so I lean toward Bob Marino as Tool Nut is in same state as me, therefore I get taxed with them.

I have also ordered with Aldo at In Touch Tools in Palm Desert California. Depending on where you are, and how much of a hurry you might be in, there are regional dealers that can get your stuff to you a day or two faster...

I buy from Bob Marino (bobmarinosbesttools.com) and Toolnut (festoolproducts.com), absolutely great service from both.  Toolnut has an advantage in that they carry a comprehensive line of contractor and shop tools.

In addition to Bob Marino and ToolNut, I have also ordered from Hartville Tool and have been pleasantly surprised. The former set the bar high for customer service, but neither sells on Amazon anymore. If you're like me and have a stash of Amazon points you want to redeem for Festoys, Hartville is a great option. I've had no trouble getting someone knowledgable on the phone and I've even complimented them on sealing a blister pack of nails with tape prior to shipment. If you've ever received a pack of nails that came apart it becomes immediately apparent how 30 seconds of extra care goes a long way. Bob's packing people might add 6 layers of bubble wrap to the package of nails!  [eek]  Its hard to live up to that standard.  [smile]

Yes, I bought from Tool Nut (and the now out of business Tool Home) through Amazon way back when. A little birdie told me that Tool Nut will be back on Amazon at some point. I have orders pending with Hartville and Acme Tools through Amazon, used the 12 month zero % financing option, works for me!

In my opinion, I would skip CPO and Factory Authorized Outlet. No need to drag out why here, just my take on those 2 dealers, there are better options with more personal service ...

I'm not sure there is a more knowledgeable Festool dealer than Bob Marino.  When you call his business, Bob is the one answering the phone (so try to keep it during normal hours).

I bought my Kapex from him because he was able to give me more information about the tool over the phone than any of my local brick & mortar stores could when I visited them.

As others have said, the protective measures for his shipping are second to none.  He also offers fee shipping on all orders so I buy all my consumables from him as well.

Have you asked your local dealer to get the items for you? They should be able to get them for you in a few days.

Tom was my go to dealer. Since his passing I have been using a new to Festool local dealer. We have a few kinks to work out in their order process.

If they do not work out I will find an online dealer, it wont be Amazon. I need too know the "face" behind the business.

Hey squarecut, if you're in Huntington you should check out urban hardwwods on Broadway.  They're a full on Festool dealer and have a great selection of exotic hardwood.  There's tax but no wait time. 

For online stuff, I've had great experiences with Bob marino, shopfestool.com, and the tool nut.

Tom used to be my online festool dealer, but since his passing, Ive been using In Touch tools. Aldo has giving me very good customer service for the few orders Ive made there.

I also liked Anderson Ply. Though i haven't ordered any festool items from them, what i did order I had very good customer service as well.
