I must have mistyped ... I meant to say two different panels from one bit. As you stated, you can cut raised panels by using the entire panel bit with fence back or cut only the tongue with fence forward, setting the height appropriately, and then flip the panel over for shaker appearance, is that right?  If that’s true it seems to make more sense to buy raised panel sets rather than a Shaker set and save the money since raised panel sets can perform double duty, assuming you don’t need the inside of the cabinet to have the Shaker look also.
