Birthday coming up. Which track saw

Obviously the 75 is bigger and heavier than a 55 saw but it weighs exactly the same as the earlier 65 saw which I used all day long cutting small parts on an MFT on multiple occasions. You get used to it.

In the op’s case I’d get the 75 and see how it goes.

Yea I’m really leaning toward the 60. For slabs too thick I can use a hand saw and flush trim bit for those means. Don’t see any real advantage to ts75 in my case

Two 1.75" thick door stiles trimmed with a TS60 (28 tooth blade) and TS75 (36 tooth blade) for comparison below. The larger blade diameter really makes a difference.

That finish from the TS60 looks pretty woeful, is that normal? I get a better finish from my HK85.

I would agree, that looks pretty rough, like maybe the toe is off and the blade is digging?
I can cut MDF with mine and you can't even tell that it was cut with a saw.

I was surprised too. I also get cleaner cuts with my craftsman circular saw and straight edge
