Hi Guys,

I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for.

I know there are Carvex specific blades but Festool's search engine on their website doesn't do a good job of telling which blades are for the Carvex.

Can someone recommend to me some of the Carvex blades. I do general purpose woodworking/furniture building.

Thanks,
Matt

I have found the FS and FSG Carvex blades to work the best.  They are the thickest ones, come in a variety of lengths and cut well. One will give smoother cuts for straight cuts and gentle curves. The other will do tight curves.

I also suggest the assortment.  That way you have blades to cover all applications.  You will go through some much faster than others but then you will know exactly what you need and can easily order more.

Thanks Seth. These seem to be what I'm looking for.

I got a Bosch 18 pack assortment for $10 at Lowes. So far, I've been happy. I haven't used my splinter guard insert yet and the cut quality on 1/4" plywood was excellent.
