Bloodwood Kitchen Remodel Mostly Finished.

Richard,  great looking,   did you build all the cabinets and stain them  or did you just do the installation and trim out? 

I did the whole ball of wax so to speak, everything from start to finish. No stain involved that's natural bloodwood with a clear top coat.

Beautiful work! Small thing - I'd suggest changing out your light switches and plates for a more modern look if you haven'yt alreay considered this

Your not the only one to mention the plate covers. I'm think of replacing them with stainless steel cover plates. What do you think?

Hey Rich, nice looking kitchen. Can you post a nice close up pic of how you mounted the drawer sides to the drawer fronts? Perhaps some close ups of how you constructed the drawer boxes as well......if it's not too late !! Nice work !

The drawers are made of BB plywood with a locking rabbit joint. The drawer faces are the typical plant on screwed from the inside of the drawer and then the draw pull hardware screws go thru also.  For the wider drawers I used rack and pinion hardware as shown in the videos and the bottom of the page.
