Blum Hinge install

My problem is the door sticks out to far due to the hinge plate that I mounted 37mm from the edge. As you can see in the picture I line up the cups and the one hinge is longer which pushes out the door. I'm thinking it needs like a 46 mm set back.

I see no picture of the hinge mount/door mounted on the case.

Tom

The only hinge plates I've had to put on setback further than 37mm are for using angled door hinges

Question---please don't be insulted, it is something I would question of myself if I was having problems.

Are you sure the holes are at 37 mm not 27 mm?

Tom

You are assuming one has the plate holes mounted further back because you are lining up the front flanges of the cups of 2 different hinges. Disregard that. It is 37mm setback for a large majority of blum hinges

Of the hinges that you have paired together, the one one the left is a 110 or 120 °, (can't see back), and the one on right is a 110°+ or 120°+
hinge. There is a difference in the way they swing and they can't be used together. The pc of hardware on the far right is the back of the right hand 0mm plate which has been unnecessarily removed.

The difference between 71t559 and 70t559 is that one is free swinging and one is self closing.
Hope we are being helpful! !

You do need door bumpers, I prefer stem bumpers over stick ons.

Tom
Tom, do you have a link for the stem bumpers you like to use? A part number I can transfer would be just as appreciated. Thanks!

I use the clear ones, order them by the 1000 quantity.

Thank you Tom, that is very much appreciated :)

I didn't even know there was an alternative to the stick on, fall off, variety.

I do have it at 37mm. I put the other blum hinges I picked up and they fit fine. Going to try a 46 mm set back on a scape piece and see how that turns out. Thanks everyone.

Just a update on the mystery hinges. I did send Blum a email and they got back to right away. I sent them a picture of it and the set back is 43 mm on this hinge. It has a 15 mm overlay. thanks to all.
