Years ago I remember seeing this at Teygeler, a woodworking machines shop in Amsterdam Holland. Forgot about it until just now but it does seem quite interesting. However, a quick search on the web doesn't bring me much apart from the one YouTube video. Does anybody know anything about this? I think it is a Scandanavian product, maybe it is better known over there.

I like it! Looks dead handy for a work shop which has little space but it can be folded down for cutting wider sections.

Doesn't look like it would cost a lot either!

The simplest version I have seen is

But I'd get a streibIg if I had the space

Thats nothing like the OP version I have seen the Zapkut in real life.  It's made out plastic (maybe fibre glass cant remeber) and Ali

It's not very solid but I was interested in buying it for site work because of its prortability and mainly to cut the sheets down to manageable sizes to work on my bench (mft)  Then decided I rather have it in my workshop when i get round to building it but now I rather save and get a cnc  [big grin]. But I do like the OP non protable version with the fold down idea.   I hate carrying 22mm or thicker sheets in full size especially trying to get them onto your bench.

Back then I thought it was a lot of money although I can't remember how much it was. My standard has changed a bit though so I might well think it to be fairly priced nowadays. ;) Also, I wasn't the least convinced about sawing vertically and I still think horizontal is better. But it does solve the space issue and I'm sure it will be a heck of a lot cheaper than an actual Streibig!! As far as quality goes, the shop I saw it back then has high standards so it should be pretty good.

Would be great if someone could find a website or seller with prices and more info!

Thanks for the link JMB, will give them a call this week to get a price. There's not much information out there is there?
