I have a boom arm with my CT22 and I noticed some small sag recently. It turns out the sleeve that allows the movement of the arm is made out of plastic and it has started to wear down. I was trying to figure out if this was typical of the boom arm, so I went to my local Woodcraft to check out their boom arm. The sleeve on their arm is metal, maybe aluminum, and it's very rigid. When did this change occur, plastic to metal? How do I acquire a metal sleeve for my boom arm? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
