I'm tired (and beginning to feel old) of lugging my DeWalt thickness planer around. The say it only weighs 90+ pounds, but at the end of the day that seems to double. I've got this stand on my Bosch table saw:

http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-TS2000-Gravity-Rise-Wheeled-Table/dp/B00067IX1K/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1217033065&sr=8-12

I love this thing. Rolls easily and stores with the saw in a relatively small spot. Bigger yet, is that I don't pick up the saw anymore.

Now Bosch has come out with a similar stand for their miter saws:

http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-T4B-Gravity-Rise-Miter-Stand/dp/B000VZNEM0/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1217033187&sr=1-5

I haven't been able to see one in person. I'm wondering if anyone has one out there. If you have one or have seen one, do you think it would be possible to mount the DeWalt thickness planer on it? My back would love an affirmative answer.......

Thanks for the help,

Mike

Mike,

try a search for "Gravity rise Bosch" I brought the table saw with stand a couple of months ago and I know at the time the stand was available separately, I think even sears carried it - Simplest mounting for your planer would be a slab of 3/4 ply (there are 6 mounting holes on the top of the frame of the stand to mount the tools to), I think the stand alone went for $150
