Found a new use for domino machine. Swing canopy stretched some due to rain puddling/snow, so needed to provide an arch to tighten it up and let rain run off. Used 6mm cutter, and made 4 mortises partially through the long rails for the front and back. Then cut the bows and made shoulders the size of the mortises. The bow ends then fit into the mortises and with the right length, gave a nice arch. And I can take it back apart if needed, as it's just a tension fit. Have to do another coat of paint to protect for being outside all the time, but it works great.
