So today i went to use my TS hooked up to my maybe 3-4 week old CT 36 and i puled the trigger on the saw and nothing. So then i tried to put the vac on manual and nothing. So then i checked the extension cord i had it plugged into had not wiggled loose on either end. Both ends where perfect. So what is it , now i. Getting mad as i got shit i have to get done asap and i really don't wanna be swapping out my midid on and off my Kapex. I check that the outlet has juice going to it. All is good on that front. Just as I'm about to give up i go back se the vac to manual and check the connection on the vacuum end into the extension cord. I bump it a certain way almost by mistake and it fires up. I then try to replicate the problem and it seems to be a problem on the CT end of things with the cord and not at the vac but at the end that plugs into the wall. I then decide to swap out the extension cord and rule that out. I swap extension cords and still the problem persists. I eventually propped the cord just so and was able to get my cuts made.
What would you all do. I really don't like a $700 month old tool giving me problems. On the other hand i really don't like the idea of being without my CT all week when i need it for work. Not to mention the holiday will probably screw up service turn around times..
