Breast Cancer Systainer

Ok NO I don't have one. Has there ever been any Systainers that have been pink in color or even pink accents for Breast Cancer? Also, finding good quality "Pink" tools is quite hard. I might have to color up my own Systainer to make my own limited edition if one has not been made.

It's OK to wear a pink breast-canver awareness button or t-shirt while you use your Festool products, but if you actually paint or otherwise make a Systainer (gasp!) ... *PINK?!* ... I'm afraid you'll have to turn in your man card.

A pink latch on an anthracite Systainer might look quite decent. Like you said, kind of a 'limited edition' idea?

If somebody with Photoshop skills could mock one up we could see what it would look like before any funds are expended. But I like your idea, and I could see this looking rather sharp!

That does really look effective. Just thinking out loud, while you show one systainer with the matching ribbon.  I'm wondering if the pink latch on it's own would go un noticed? By that i mean unless people asked the reason for it, they might just assume it's just a pink latch.

So i'm thinking maybe a pink latch with black insert with a pink ribbon? Or even just the insert as mentioned for the standard latch?

Also if something like these can be done and part of the cost of buying them donated to the charity?  Could other awareness / charity inserts be done? 

I would certainly buy some  inserts - black with a red poppy to support our fallen hero's .

That's a great idea Carl, i think that could be a really good success on the FOG. It would certainly be a different way of raising money for our fallen heroes and breast cancer.

That thing is beautiful! I agree that pick is not usually in the shop, but would be proud to have one of those. I fully support the effort and have a pink iPhone case with a Dallas Cowboys star on it that causes quite the stir (I'm an active duty Soldier). My troops would heckle me about it being pink at first, but soon respected the color for what it stood for and just continued heckling me about being a Cowboys fan. It is from the NFL's annual awareness drive and created quite a trend…. a pink accented systainer proves it.

While I think raising support for and cancer is welcome, I believe in the US the use of certain pinks and particularly the ribbon means getting into bed with the morally questionable Susan G. Komen foundation.

I'd rather see far more support for prostate cancer and men's depression... brown or blue sustainers anyone?

Im with this guy.  If women dying from something preventable was the real issue then we would all be supporting heart disease research.  But instead the pink coalition has done a much better job of marketing and bilking billions from us. 

Keep your pink and your agenda.  (not directed at anyone here, just my personal opinion)
