Brief Set-Up In-Destructions for the MFT/3

Hey, be sure to check out Timmy's pdf. Its no bull the new MFT/3 can be set up in 15 minutes, also the rail/fence taken off then and then reinstalled in only a minute or two (perfectly square).

maybe he meant.............  "The Instructions for the DeConstruction of the MFT/3" ;D ;D ;D

I am just used to the Festool Manuals.  I remember when we got our first store display / merchandisers; on the inside was a sheet of paper that had "Achtung!"  then one line of German below the word Achtung!  I called our Festool Rep at the time, and he said; "yup, you just have to achtung it together".

Actually if the truth be told, that has been a family saying since I was but an infant.  My pops would say, "let's read the destructions and get this thing put together."  Then about half way through the process, we would toss the destructions aside, and only pick them up again if we had a part left-over.

Maybe an idea to get your fence squared to the rail?

Put your fence in the 90 degree click position, tighten knob 1, move it against the rail and check if there is no gap.
If there is, like in this pic (gap exaggerated )

Loosen the 2 screws circled in green, and loosen Knob 1. This allows you to square your fence.

The result should be this

Tighten knob 1 and tighten screws.
No more gap and if you now put the fence back in the 0 position it should be perfectly square to the rail IMO.
