British Availability Problem - MFT 3 FX

I have a MFT3 with accessories-and very handy it is, but it usually stays at home and doesn't come to site very often. When I bought it, from a well known, Devon based company I got a pair of parf dogs, the tall ones.

I have a pair of the quick clamps, the ratchetty ones which live with my TS55. My intent was to get another couple of these (so £70 the pair), or should I get the low profile SP clamps(£62 the pair). Decisions, decisions.

I could also do with a pair of some lower profile dogs.

Suddenly, the MFT 3 FX set looks like a really good option. Both sets of clamps, four bench dogs, knobs, other cramp stop thingies, another one of these pretty boxes, and by Festool standards, a bargain. Decision made.

Except no-one seems to have this set now. Anyone know if this set is available.

It was a limited edition run. The sets do seem to be running out of stock nearly everywhere.

Whilst it's out of stock on their website. Axminster do have stock in some of their stores. If you ring them they'll either get it transferrrd to a store that is close to you or get it shipped to you.

Check out Warren at toolfest, Toucan Tools (they had the largest stock of any supplier I seen in the UK) ED Elson saw them at a tool show they seem o have a nice stock, FFX and N&B have a good selection to.

Basically yer gonna have to call around. Youll find someone who has one

Thanks everyone. I tried most of your suggestions (the British ones, I didn't try phoning Illinois yet).

As it turned out, that rather well known, Devon based Power tool centre had one set left.

Mine now [big grin] Well, it will be tomorrow when a polish guy in a van delivers it.
