Anyone ever replace a turbine on a ct26 I’m looking for advice or pointers anything helps at this point.

So it is broken after all?

Replacing it is very easy. You just need to unscrew everything that is in the way, which is mostly the outer shell.

Remember to take detailed pictures while you take it apart as reference on how to put it all back.

If you look above in the menu bar of this website you'll see Additional websites > Spare Parts Catalogue and you can find your vac there  with a parts list and an exploded view drawing. This will give you an idea of what's inside.

Have your T25 torx screwdriver with a long handle handy.

Before you remove the old turbine, once that you expose it pull the brushes as they will kill the turbine if they are worn too short.

So the unit turns on for a good 15 min then it dies causing it to suck less and less then it jumps to regular suction only to completely die. After resting for 20 min it fires right up again. I’m going to buy the brushes hopefully it’s that if it’s not would anyone know what Festool would charge for a new turbine if it’s done thru Festool

Sounds more like a faulty electronic control board.

A CT that starts and runs for a while will probably have OK brushes. As it starts to reduce suction it sounds like the suction control is backing off and then fails completely.
