C-12 batteries

I just had my cells replaced in 3 C-12 FX batteries for about $42 each at a local Batteries Plus. They have been charged up and seem to work fine. Just passing along this info since new batteries cost about $120 or so if I remember correctly.

We reduced battery prices for the C-12 and TDK in February of last year.  You can read about it in an old copy of SysNotes, our email newsletter.  The C12 battery prices are $55-65 now depending on the Ah.

Thanks for this info.  I didn't know Batteries Plus did this kind of work, and there's one just a couple of miles rom home.

Although I just recently got a C12 and wouldn't need any new batteries for quite some time, I have another line of 18V tools for which a few batteries could use some attention.

Thanks for posting this.  After 3+ years of tough use, the 2.4AH batteries for my C12 are starting to fail - won't hold a charge as well.   I'd prefer to get the new C15 and sell my C12, but if my current C12 batteries fail before the new C15 comes out, it's good to know that I can get some new ones for $60.
