OK Just got my new C15 drill.Really like it so far.
The light on the drill is activated by the main trigger of the drill. And then stays on for maybe a couple seconds.
But i noticed that if i put sideway pressure on the trigger, the light comes on.
Is this normal?
Is there a way to turn the light off?

Normal at least on my C15. I think sideways pressure still translates to inward pressure given the switch. The switch is designed to allow  you to use the light without running the motor. You can't turn it off. Congrats on the drill, I really like mine.

Update on the C15.
I called Festool about the switch and they advise to me to return it and get another drill. This side pressure activation is not normal acording to Festool.
Also, sometime the drill kept on going(just for a split second)after releasing the trigger.
I got the replacement last weekend and what a difference.I am now starting to like the drill better [wink]
