I'm trying to settle on something easy to use for designing built ins for my house. I came across this extension for SketchUp:

It looks to do everything I want without too much fuss. Anyone have it? Likes/dislikes? Is there something else out there for a hobbyist that's quick to get into and doesn't break the bank? I'm worried if I buy this extension it won't work in a few years since the guy's website is pretty bare bones:

In fact every cabinet maker software website I come across is similar, not a lot of meat and the prices can be pretty wild for someone like me who plans on doing a few built ins here and there without the need for CNC programming.

Yes I tried it, very good - i know that's subjective. Don't be put off by the website. He is active in updateshttps://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=63060&start=510

I used it for the trial and was impressed. I didnt buy it for 2 reasons - I moved to Fusion360 and I use Blum products and use their dynalog software.

HTH

I want to learn Fusion360 and plan on using Blum hardware. .how has that been for you? Is the Dynalog software any good? I think I installed it but never played around with it. Any examples of what you can do with the combo of Fusion360/Dynalog?

I have been using cabinetvision for 20 plus years , If i had it to do over i would go with mozaic you can do a monthly scrip rather than put up a large upfront cost 10k plus... i tried it on a trial version just cant teah an old dog new tricks.. too much time invested to turn back now.
