I have two hoses -- these are the smaller diameter hoses for the handtools-- they have the rubbery end that fits over the outflow on the sanders and the other end is the large diameter hard plastic end that fits into the CT 33 vacuum that I own. I have two questions-
1) how do I join one hose to the other to make a longer hose? I tried buying some parts but I never seem to get the right parts to connect the two hoses easily -- I have used duct tape but that is kind of ugly. So I have to join one end of the hose connected to the vac which would be the rubbery smaller diameter end to the larger diameter hard plastic male end of my second hose. I do have the Y connector to connect them both to the vac so I can setup two tools at once but sometimes I need a longer hose and I would like to connect them to each other end to end to make one longer hose.
2) I have one hose garage already which holds one hose nicely -- so I was wondering if I can simply buy a second garage and stack it on top for storing the second hose when transporting all my tools. I understand I would have to remove the top garage to get to the hose in the lower one but for just moving all the components around during transport and storage this would still be nice.
Thanks
Jeff
