I want to connect two of the standard 27mm AS hoses end to end - to get a longer working length on one of my CT26's I use as a stationary workstation sander vacuum.

I am assuming I need to swap one hoses end so that both ends have the "tool" end, and then purchase an AS connector fitting.

Would these parts be the correct ones?

ZA487071 & ZA493047  both from the Lee Valley web site...

Thanks,
Andrew

I went in the opposite direction and replaced the vac end connection to a reducer 487071 and then used a Fein hose end adapter 921069A13 connecting my 27mm hose to my 36mm.

No, you want to take off a Reducing Sleeve off one of your hoses (the end that goes into the tool), and add a Rotating Adaptor (the part that normally goes into the extractor).

So you don't need another ZA487071 (Reducing Sleeve), you need a ZA452892 (Rotating Adapter) instead. Then the ZA493047 joins the two.

See here for more info...

Thanks!
