Carvex 400 to 420?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone had made their 400 into a 420?  Is this possible?  I have a 400 that doesn't work as it should and was thinking I could just fit the bottom guide.  I have been given a new 420, for the above, but would like to salvage the 400 if at all possible to use on site.  Any ideas, TIA.

No. Not only has the blade guide been changed, but the gearbox has as well. Unfortunately.
