I just got my Carvex this week but I'm already looking at how to fabricate a standard tilt base for it.
I think it's just a matter of time before some aftermarket adjustable base becomes available. I doubt Festool will offer one because they had the opportunity to do so when they released the Carvex accessory kit, and for some odd reason, they thought it wasn't necessary. The Carvex is just too popular of a saw for this missing adjustable base issue to continue on forever.
