Any updates on the Carvex being released in the US?  Or has this been abandoned for our market?

You guys are persistent, I'll give you that.  [huh] If everyone who asks about it buys one, we'll sell millions of them. [big grin]

I don't have any new information to share right now. Here's a snippet from the statement published about the delay of the Carvex.

We will continue to refine the new jigsaw’s design, with the full expectation that the Carvex will be introduced at a later date, executed in a manner that will be satisfying to even the most demanding customer. As this process unfolds, updates will be announced on our website and through our email newsletter.

Also, I keep an up-to-date list of tool introduction status here:

I realize that the Carvex's delay has been a frustrating situation for some of you, as it has been for me. But I can tell you that it's not been forgotten.

Bwahaha!

Would you rather we acted more like the indifferent customers of other brands?  [big grin]

At this point I bet Shane is indifferent to this question. [blink] [big grin]

I have faith that when Festool USA decides the Carvex is ready for sale, they will become available in North America.

Meanwhile I have been making good money with my Trion PS300.

I hope I didn't come across the wrong way. I'm just frustrated I don't have a date or a specific answer to the question. What I can say is that I'm confident we'll see the Carvex introduced here at some point. I do care about and share the disappoint of it being postponed.

Remember though,

When it arrives....

Wear hearing protection, full facial shield + extra eye protection.
A parachute wouldn't do any harm I guess.

Carvex, Now safely To Be Used In North America  [tongue]  [big grin]

I haven't heard anything in a few hours now; any updates on the Carvex?

(just kidding...)

[laughing]

You can only do what you can do.  Better to wait and get it right.
