A month or so back my carvex would not eject the blade. Putting a new blade in was a major bit of work, had to take off the base and use pliers.
I sent it in for warranty, and I just got it back today.
The problem was the blades that I was using are not meant for the carvex, rather they are for the trion. Something about the back of the blade? not sure exactly.
So if you get a Collins coping foot for your carvex, make sure that the free blades they include say "carvex" on them and not trion. The blades have the same part number.
