Have Bosch corded jig-saw.
Just got one Carvex-cordless and made several straight cuts in plywood, Bosch blade (thick one), and one cut along an arc.
When i saw the cuts, I run to computer and order the second Carvex-cordless.

Many were around to direct me on Mafell jig-saw. Thanks to my Angel I got Festool.

I think the OP was just general praising His newly acquired Carvex. 

I agree.  I love my festool jigsaws. They are the best I've used.  Though I've used some lovely ones by other brands also, both old & new .
I'm sure there are better jigsaws out there, but personally I've yet to use better than either my Trion or Carvex.
