Hi all,
This is the second of two wall sconces which will get mounted to left side of the double garage doors. They are constructed from WRC and finished with Sikkens 1 23 (Mahogany) to match the house fascia. The design is not mine, but I have adapted the original to allow mounting on the wall, using two brackets and a mounting plate. The wiring is hidden in the centre of the top bracket, the bulb is one of those twirly fluros. I had the ivory glass panes custom cut at a hobby glass store. Where possible I used small loose Domino tenons for the joinery.
For the project I use 3 Festool tools, the Domino joiner, the 5" ETS 125 sander and the C12 drill. I'll post a few pics during construction throughout the month, particularily when using the Festools. At the bottom of this post I've added pics of the first one I made and finished last week.

Lower roof glueup using Domino's.
Dryfit of the main frame using Dominos. (I've found Domino's very handy when it comes to dry fitting a project)
Glueup of the side panels.
The first of two wall sconces finished and mounted - this is what it will look like when complete.
Before finishing.
