Title says it all.

For Wera tools (and others). Would be great if it could made to work with centrotec.  It now works, but it has a bit of slob.

It exists from Festool now as well. Pretty sure it is made by Wera based on all appearances and function. It takes  Both   ball and wire detent (1" insert) bits.

Yeah. Thanks. I have one on order.

Beware there are two versions. One CE and one NON  CE (for the TID 18). Figured that out the hard way. [big grin]

I'd like some help here... I've read the reference topic but I am still not clear on this. There appears to be a BHS-60 and a BHS-60-CE. I want to buy one (in USA) but I don't know the difference and where they are available(?). Festool Products has a #205067 but can't quite tell the details. I want my CXS to handle all ball detent and wire bits with the Wera style adapter on a Centrotec shank. The BHS-60 and the BHS-60-CE appear to be the same. Can someone enlighten me as to the distinction?
Thanks.

I read you, its all confusing. The problem started with one that doesn't work that great (some bits keep slipping out). That one is BHS 65 CE, (b]CE stands for centrotec[/b]).

FT made a update to this one (looks suspiciously a lot like the WERA version). Anyway, thats the BHS 60 CE P/N #205097.  And then there is one, that looks same, only has a hex shaft for the new TID 18 (impact driver) and does not fit the centrotec.

Long story short, what you want is the "BHS 60 CE". Now this one is separately expensive, they have a few version where its bundle with a few bits. For Centrotec stuff, just watch has CE in the name.

for example centrotec:
Festool BHS 65 CE - #205097
Festool Bit-Sortiment BITS + BHS 65 CE TL 24x – #769094

not centrotec:
Festool BT-IMP SORT3 - #204383

See pictures for the differences (first is for Centrotec, 2nd is for the TID):

Thanks for the clarification info. I forgot about the new one for the TID.  They should have made it a different color for quick identification.

So, it appears I made a typo on my previous post. Festool Products has the #205097https://www.festoolproducts.com/festool-205097-centrotec-bit-holder-bhs-60mm.html
which from what you just posted, appears to be the one I want. So there is only one with the "Wera" adaptor and the Centrotec shank and that is the #205097 linked here.
Thank you very much for the clarification.

I have two of the Wera and they are already that color.

Your Wera branded ones are that bright green?

Seth

The new «TID» version is beefier, may also be in different steel as well.
Be also beware of the new bit set’s; they are also meant to go with impact drivers.

Funny, Wera has a different design and color for their impact bits and holders.
Instead of the usual green, there’s orange.

That's a good way to differentiate.

I bought a six piece diamond coated bit and holder set and the holder is exactly the same color as my new centrc holders.

That's odd. Other than the impact orange they usually are aqua green with black.

Seth

Well, actually it’s not the bit holder itself that has orange (it has a black band) but the bit and bit holders case that is black and orange - I find this very useful because they are a lot alike...

The kit on the left, with handle, has a fixed space in all my work trousers:
