Based in uk trying to replace some of my pozzie  25 mm bits that have broken . When I have looked on line but the only thing I can find is assortment sets.  Which I have no interest in owning another .have plenty

Not really getting anywhere with Festool customer service. They seem to be making it more complicated than it should be . Currently playing email ping pong with them .

Does any one know where I can source the bits fron or alternative makes that are comparable with the CENTROTEC bit holders

The Centrotec holder will hold just about any 25mm hex bit; I don't think there's anything extra special about the Festool 25mm bits that makes them better than others as far as using them with the Centrotec holder.  They may be more or less susceptible to cam-out or stripping than other bits, but the Centrotec compatibility should be a non-issue.

If you are using a Centrotec bit holder, any "quarter inch hex" bit head can work and the quality varies with manufacturer. If you want Centrotec bits that go directly into the drill/driver's connection without a bit holder, then you want the Festool product or those from a limited number of suppliers like Snappy. Festool does seem to limit availability of many "direct Centrotec"  bits. For example, my standard screw is Robertson/Square Drive and for a very long time, I could not buy a Festool branded SQ2 or SQ1 bit. A year or so ago, I managed to score a pair of 50mm Centrotec SQ2 and SQ1 bits and in a SysOrg I bough, there was a really nice set of 100mm bits that ran the gamut. All my other "stuff" that goes into my four Festool drill/drivers Centrotec head are from Snappy. (Pozy isn't a thing here in the US other than on certain hardware that comes with fasteners, such as drawer slides, etc.)

Thanks.  I was not sure about comparability . I can look to source some generic bits

The small bits with wire-retention are somewhat "universal". They even come in the box with some kinds of fasteners sold at retail. That's why Festool has the Centrotec standard bit holder as it provides that universal fit. It's also cost effective if you wear out a particular bit type because of using it a lot.
