Changing Pad on Rotex 125

Help....

Purchased a RO125 yesterday and tried to change the pad.  I think everything was done correctly, but the current pad would not rotate off the sander.  I didn't want to force it too agressively.  Is there a trick?  Has anyone else had difficulty?

Nice to see Gunther the Gorilla still has his job at the Festool factory.  He was the one who torqued down the pad fixing bolt on old Rotex 150s, and I was afraid that he'd lost his job when the new "toolless pad change" models came out.

Apparently not.
