I agree with the idea of looking at a used Delta Unisaw or a used Powermatic.
I traded in a very well maintained and nearly flawless Delta Unisaw when I bought my Sawstop. If I were looking at either the Unisaw or the Powermatic, I'd ask about the availability of spare parts. I've had issues finding parts for some of my older Delta power tools.
We have an excellent dealer in new and used power tools, Redmond, in the Atlanta area.
I think the fit and finish of the older saws is often much better than the new stuff coming out of China.
