Cheapest Festool Dust Extractor with the green hose?

I want to buy the green festool dust hose. I could use another dust extractor as well. What's my cheapest/best option? I don't need fancy features like BT. The lowest priced dust extractors have a black/gray hard hose - I want the soft fabric covered green hose.

Probably a CTC-SYS Basic for $400.  If you don't have batteries, you're not really "getting an extractor" with it, though.

CT-MIDI is $5 cheaper than the CT-SYS-Set with batteries, and is the cheapest option that comes with the braided hose otherwise.

At $680-685, that's a lot to pay just to get a $150 hose.

The Shaper woven hose is 2.5m long and $100, the 27/32 Festool woven hose is 3.5m long and $145.

Depending on the length needed, the Shaper hose may be easier?

Yeah, $685 is a lot. I was hoping there was a CT15 or CT25 variant.
The SO hose at 2.5m long is too short.

As you stated in the original message, the cheaper variants come with a ribbed anti-static hose instead of a sleeved model.  They (CT 15/25) also lack the brake, Bluetooth (which you said you didn't need), and hose garage, but the hoses are at least anti-static now (wasn't always the case with the CT15).

If you want a hose and extractor, you can always get a CT15 and buy an aftermarket sleeve for the hose; there have been posts previously on the FOG and on social media of hose sleeves.

Why not buy one of the workshop cleaning sets, best hack to get a cheap hose.

Those come with the 36 mm hose. The dust extractors come with the 27/32 mm hose.

So it also depends on which hose the OP wants.

As mentioned the hose is readily available for $145 .

Then maybe look for a used unit. I have a CT22 I bought used  during COVID for I think $200. An older unit for sure but it does a great job and bags and filters are still available.

Festool isn't the only game in town and others to look at on the used market (or even new) would be FEIN or Bosch or several different brands rebadge Nilfisk Attix units, Makita, Milwaukee, Flex. I have a Flex branded version of the Nilfisk Attix 44 and it is a very nice dust extractor.

Facebook Marketplace seems to be the spot for used stuff

OR maybe something would come up on Festool Recon

Probably the Midi-I if they don't sell the Mini-I where you live. Out of those two I would get the Midi anyway.

About 2 years ago I purchased a MIDI I HEPA from the Recon site for $480. It actually appeared to be new...certainly used very little to not used at all.

The new anti static hose that's offered on the CT 15 (which is a good deal at $419) appears to be the same style as the hose on the CT 36 AC. If that's the case, I absolutely love that hose as it doesn't kink, is extremely flexible and is super light weight.

If that works for you, wait around and a CT 15 will come up on the Recon site for about $340. A CT 15 or 25 will pop up on the Recon site every month or so.

The CT15 is the best value extractor out there. I have the old CT15 with the non-anti-static hose, which is as flexible as the hose of the CT26 that I used to have. I've added "blue tooth" function to my CT15 using a $20 Cdn hack.

It is a differet hose unfortunately.

The one shipping (in US version of) CT 36 AC and with the "Planex" versions in Europe is a different one. It is a special flexible and light one for PLANEX use.

The CT15 and CT 25 hoses are the same as the "old" grey ones, just anti-static.

@OP:
Not cheapest way, but here is my comment:

A) If you already have the "big" CT26/36 series vacs (or 22/33/44), get the CT Midi as the small/transportable one to complement them.

B) If you already have a CT Mini/Midi series vac, do look at a CT 26 and "downgrade" your current Midi for portable/home use in turn.

Both way you get the best value as you would upgrade your whole stack. Even if not the smallest outlay.

As for Bluetooth:
If you do not have it on any vac now, then you want it without knowing it. Sure, it makes little sense on a dedicated workstation like a KAPEX use case, but it IS a godsend on the "go-to" vac used for small cleanups etc. It is also irresistible for TSO in a home use case.

The thing is, having BT available actually changes your workflow - increasing efficiency measurably. Several steps can be skipped. One just stops pre-empting to turn on the vac, trying to avoid cleaning up a small thing etc. etc. So it may be true you do not need it in your current worflow - because you are already setup in a way to compensate for the lack of a remote vac startup. But that compensation is not for free (in time).

How I know .. I borrowed my 27/32 hose to a friend as he needed multiple hoses to connect and left the remote on it .. oh boy how did I notice the lack of efficiency immediately! Everything /what before getting a CT 36 was normal/ now seemed such a slow chore suddenly. I imemdiately started changing the workflow "back" to accomodate the lack of a quick vac startup ...

If you use corded tools with the vac, the BT doesn't add that much.

I have read that when turned on with BT instead of manually it doesn't turn off when power draw from the socket stops. I still hope someone (or Festool...) comes out with a fix for that super annoying behavior of the Mini-I / Midi-I.

Assuming new/retail the CT-15 and a 3.5m hose, as an accessory, is going to cost right around $450.
That's the cheapest you're going to find, unless you go with recon or used.
It jumps up to a little over $650 to get a Midi. You get the Bluetooth, hose garage, parking brake, etc if any of those hold value for you.
As mino stated, you might appreciate the BT remote more than you think

Hey [member=77266]smorgasbord[/member] as I mentioned in an earlier post, if you can live with a CT 15, one's coming up on Recon for only $335.

Yeah, I've been watching that for days now.
