Had a bunch of fun doing this one. Done lots of built ins /kitchenettes but this was my first full custom kitchen.

The 4pc crown on the refer and micro were challenges because the ceilings dropped down 5/8" over 2 ft. That island is a brick lol. And the right angle attachment was a lifesaver again!

Thanks Corey,
painters are there now and will be done this week. Then the rest is contracted by the homeowner,  last I heard countertops were 4-6 weeks out [eek]. So it will be a while before its done. Doors and drawers should be ready in 3 weeks then I can install them.
Few more pics. Sorry bout the photos, doing this from new tablet and obviously didnt resize them. Island is painted a off white so i hope the contrast of stained cabs will turn out nice.
How/why did I go about cutting wide sheet goods before the TS75?!

Where are the backs to the cabinets?
There are none, all the ply is fitted to the walls and the inside wood gets clear coated, back gets painted.

Are the cabinets already stained? It's going to be a bit tough to stain them in place without getting stain on the walls. It's also going to be quite a reach to open those windows in the corner.

I just saw the first post and it looks like the cabinets might already be stained. Can't really tell from the photos. I do really like the style of the cabinets.

No backs is the norm for true built ins, none of it is pre made.
They are not stained in the pictures, the walls are not even primed yet so even if some did get on the wall its not a big deal.
Normally the walls would be primed but the series of events is the same

Looks good, you do some real nice work. I agree cutting sheet goods before the TS55/75 was just plain painful. While I cut smaller pieces on the table saw, the TS55 is almost always first in the workflow.
If possible I would be interested in seeing the final cabinets as well as pictures of the inside during and after finishing.

Yes, old style  [big grin]. In the early sixties when my parents has some cabinets replaced , the cabinet maker built them the same way. Some existing kitchens are still are this way, I haven't been in a lot of new builds but I have not seen this done in this area for some time.

Looks really good.

I have a question for all of the domino owners out there (I, unfortunately, am not one).  Where TJ uses the pocket holes; I would assume that would be easily accomplished with dominos as an alternative?

I'm also building a cherry kitchen and am using dominos for all joinery, no screws anywhere.

Yes but slower.
Pocket holes are faster because you just glue the joint screw it together and move on. With Domino you have to clamp the joint.
