Choosing between TS 55 & TS 75

If you are doing finish work the 55 is the better choice.  It's much lighter and you can purchase finer finish blades for it.  If you are breaking down rough lumber, thick stuff the 75 would be better there.  I think the 75 is used to cut thick aluminum extrusions which is one of the reason for the clutch and deeper cut.

Down here in Australia we buy the TS55 for our girlfriends, we blokes only use the big 75  8)

That shows how well the Shelia's have you trained.  :o  :o  :o They get to use the real stuff while convincing you to throw away your time money and energy posing with the big tools you never need use to their full potential.  :) :) :)

When you rip slabs of Red Gum and Jarrah, the "little" Girly TS75 runs out of puff very quick. Our timber is as tough as nails... we need power ;)
