Chopsticks Made with the Bridge City Chopstick Master

Not exactly arguing but I am curious on this. Made in China doesn't have the same negative connotation it did once, since mostly things are made on the same high end machines now. Granted there is still junk out there, but overall I think quality is darned good.

I recall growing up in the 70s and hearing that everything Japanese was junk, poorly made, and would break easily. Not usually what people think of Japanese-made products these days. Things change. Granted, not every factory will make high-end products simply because the factory's customer doesn't want to pay for high-end.

When I got my Italian-made Laguna bandsaw, it was just an Italian saw rebranded when imported, but very well made. The Laguna salesperson was chatting with me about their other products and bashing a bunch of them because they were made in China. Seemed odd from a salesperson about their own products. It just meant that they were conditioned to blame any issues on made-in-China because they did no QC or rather they didn't want to pay for QC.
