Cigar room

Needed a place to smoke so turned my mud room into a cigar room. Complete with ventilation.
This was all done with poplar.
Finish was dye stain merlot than gel stain. Top coat was Armor sheald.

Looks really nice.  Can you elaborate on the ventilation setup?  Is that just an inline exhaust fan with a single vent in the room?

Yes it is an inline exchust. I forget the size. But I have 2 vents in room hooked up to it. I have had 5 guys in my room and not a problem.

Did you make the frames first then attach them to the wall? Or are the rails/styles made as individual pieces than attached to the wall? How are they attached to the wall? Nailed or adhesive? If adhesive, what did you use?

How did you deal with out of square/plumb around the windows/doors and corners?

I made each wall as on big section. Every thing is pocket screwed from the back. Than I used construction adhesive and nailed to wall placing nails were molding will hide them.
Had no major issues with window or doors. Some scribing was needed here and there. Plus the corners also have a round detail molding the matches the molding on the walls.
