hello everybody and Happy New year
I just received my new Festool (TS55, Domino, CT MIDI, C-12 drill and MFT 1080). Everything work very well and I love this tools. Thanks again to Bob Marino for good business.
I have a question - why Clamping elements has a screw-in handle? what a purpose of it? and how to fit this clamps on J?BERGS Woodworking Workbench? Bench dogs holes slightly smaller size and I really don't want to drill holes on a bench. I am thinking for some screwin to clamping elements, but not sure how to do it.

The Clamping Elements are made for the MFT.

I wouldn't want to drill holes in the Jobergs bench, either.  Use the MFT for a while.  You may decide that you don't need to modify the Jobergs.

The screw-in knob can be used to attach the Clamping Element to the MFT.  It's optional.  Most of the time I don't use the knob.

I second this.  I use the clamping elements all the time and never use the knobs.  They hold very tightly without the knobs.

For what it is worth I actually bored my out my dog holes in my primary working bench to 20mm so I could use the clamping elements there and my bench is about 2" too thick for the knobs and it hasn't been an issue.  As a plus my holdfasts from Gramercy Tools still work fine in the 20mm holes.
