Have all the T-Loc Systainers come with the clear label covers in the "left" side of the Systainer?

I've been playing hobby wood worker with Festool's for what seems like a long time now, and never noticed the clear cover on the box.  A Craigslist score got me a pile of new Systainers to replace some of my Classic boxes, and when I was printing out some labels to put in, I found the new boxes have the clear label covers for me to use.

Just needed to say the more I use this stuff, the more of the little details I find.

Ya it's weird...one clear cover on the LH side of the Systainer with no label underneath. Labels on the front LH and RH side but both without covers. Just chalk it up to Festool quirkiness, isn't the first example...won't be the last example.

Speaking about T-Loc's specifically:

When you buy a tool, the systainer it comes with has a stick-on label with the tool info/part # on the front left, front right, and right side, and the clear cover on the left side.

When you buy an empty systainer it comes with a credit card style label insert in the front left slot (not stick-on) and the clear cover on the left side, and nothing in the right front and right side.

The exception to the above is the mini T-Loc.  Empty one's come with a single stick-on label on the front right and nothing else.  Not sure about when they come with Tools (like the hand sanding block set).

Given that the tool systainers start as empty systainers, the single clear cover on the left is probably done to keep things consistent with the way the tool filled systainers are provided, as far as that clear cover goes.

It also allows Festool to sell clear covers to the tune of $8 USD for a 10 pack.

I'd be to know how the Tanos branded empty systainers come in this regard (1 clear cover, more than one, or none?)

The Tanos systainers I've purchased at Lee Valley have all had a clear cover in the left side, nothing else.

Are the empty systainers supposed to come with the clear protectors? I just bought a few and I can't seem to see them included.

Yes.

The empty Tanos systainers I've bought from Lee Valley have one clear protector plastic cover, slid into the slot on the left hand side of the box. All other slots are empty.
The empty Festool containers have the same cover, but in the left front slot, with a credit card looking Festool information insert behind it.

I found, at a local office supplies, a stiff thick plastic envelope for displaying A4 leaflets. These cut up to make 20 label covers for only a few dollars.
