Two thumbs up to Shane and the rest of the Festool team for listening and responding the customers comments. Great job guys.
Shane Holland said:I had a question from a member about obtaining a hardware kit (angle unit, fence, rail, deflector) for their 1080. If anyone is interested, the pricing on the hardware kits have been reduced to reflect the difference between the MFT non-basic and MFT basic pricing for the 800 and 1080 tables. Here are the product numbers and prices.
MFT 1080 Hardware Kit, 494071, $103.50
MFT 800 Hardware Kit, 494070, $103.50
These products can be ordered from your preferred Festool dealer.

Shane Holland said:John,
The OF 2000 E (574216) includes the 8mm & 1/2" collets and comes in a systainer. The OF 2000 BASIC (574268) includes only the 1/2" collet, does not include the edge guide and comes in a cardboard box rather than a systainer.

Can't I visit my local Festool dealer and buy the sander for the sale price or do I have to order one through my dealer and wait for it to be sent to me?
