I was looking at this hose kit that  the CMS uses for their router table.  I'm looking to hook it up with a Kapex and another Festool unit. Question is has anyone come up with a blast gate to shut off either hose without disconnecting one and put a cap on it. Would be nice with just a slide of a gate to choose which device to use.
Hope there is a off the shelf answer.

I use 2 of these (497926) on my Protool VCP 260 together with the Y-adapter.
They are actually meant for the Autoclean CT's but also work as blast gates on 2 hoses.
Although I'm not a fan of the Y-adapter.
Simultaneously use of 2 hoses is not working, there is to much loss of pressure

Great to see a solution other then a shop made blast gate.  Now to check the price.....! I assume, Festool frowns on the use of a multi outlet fearing an overload.
Thanks,
Ralph

The Festool option will set you back 140 dollars plus for the Y connector and two blast gates. I found these, see photo below. They were not anti-static, so I add the foil tape. They are color coded to make it easy to tell which hose iis on which blast gate.

I did see the price - is it worth not swapping hoses?  What I liked was the CMS hose kit that gave you the "Y" and also the 37mm shorter hose.  I do have the longer 37mm  but thought the Kapex would be better with a shorter hose.
Will give it a little more thought about making life easier.....

Greg who makes the orange blast gates?
[member=14853]Jaybolishes[/member] the company is Shop-Vac They come in a kit:
http://www.shopvacstore.com/product/sawdust-collection-kit
But I was able to buy just two a spare parts.

A google search found this link. The Vacuum gates are $5.99. You just need to know that shop-vac calls them Vacuum Gates not Blast Gates.

I had to add a set screws to tighten up the one connection. It was snug but kept working loose.

Hey, thanks for the link, I only live 35 minutes from ShopVac and I pass their factory regularly.  I will stop by tomorrow as I have to pass there on the way to job.  I love serendipity.  ;D
