Without Shane getting bent out of shape, I am surmising that the change in the lift mechanism to chrome plate possibly had something to do with you guys over seas complaining about the lack of smoothness when raising and lowering the OF 2200 in the CMS and having to "help" the router up while elevating it with the hand crank. --- JUST AN EDUCATED GUESS, NOTHING MORE.
