Cold weather storage of cordless tools

Hi festoolians can anyone shed any light on keeping my cordless festool outside in a weatherproof site vault lockbox as i am thinking of bolting it to the floor outside my house to keep all my tools in it as i park my van  quite a way from my house on a night and the doors have been forced a couple of times as the other half wants them out of HER kitchen just thinking if the cold weather will affect them or the batteries in any way any input greatly appreciated thanks

How cold are we talking?

My thought would be simply bring the batteries inside anyway ... and you probably want to charge them ... [wink]

Just a normal english winter the coldest it has ever been since i have been alive is minus 18 but i would say minus 10 to 12 and i am only talking one to two days max

Your tools themselves are not affected, but you can forget about your batteries holding a charge at such temperatures.
