I’m slowly building out our bedroom set and finished up the mirror this weekend. Frame is made of solid walnut and mounts to the wall via a hidden French cleat. The design makes it so it you look at it head on all you see is mirror but from the sides it’s walnut.

Two dressers to go from here...

If you're looking to add a bit more character to the space, consider using wallpapers for an accent wall or even inside the drawers for a fun pop of color. It's an easy way to add some vintage vibes without the mess of traditional wallpaper. You can check out retro peel and stick wallpaper for some awesome designs that would pair perfectly with your walnut pieces.
That mirror sounds like an amazing project! The hidden French cleat mounting system is a smart choice for keeping the look sleek and clean. And I love how you’ve integrated the walnut frame so it’s only visible from the sides—it adds such a beautiful, subtle touch of craftsmanship. It’s awesome that you’re building your own bedroom set; those two dressers are going to look fantastic alongside the mirror!

Are you planning to match the dressers to the walnut theme as well, or go for something different to mix it up a bit? Would love to hear more about how you’re approaching those next pieces!
