Conturo problem

Hello !  :)

I start using my festool conturo but I have a big problem: I use my conturo in stationary mode with the  mft/3 ap table and most of the time, when I start gluing, the band is not not driven by the mechanism, the roller turns but the edgeband does not move. So, I have glue everywhere, I can not even interrupt the process ...

I probably have to go wrong but I do not know when or why ... I open the notch to insert my abs band 2mm, I tighten up and then I open 2 clicks. Right?
He writes on the screen that the band is validated and I start it but it does not move, the roller slides on the band! not even 1mm... I tried to insert the band a little more or several cm, it has no effect, .

It has already worked but I do not know how, I proceed in the same way it seems to me... Sometimes the band goes by itself and everything is fine, sometimes it gets stuck and it's shit :-(

Do you have an idea for not having this problem? Sorry for my english, it's not my mother tongue :)

I've also had banding not insert or eject smoothly. Not sure if its weather or moisture related, or maybe a friction issue but giving it a hand helps to facilitate the in-feed and out-feed. Raising up a 3-4 clicks also helps, just make sure you have enough banding height.

I looked close and saw that the main feed drum has a small snubber wheel (it's on a spring to adjust for the edge banding thickness. Took about 45 minutes to clean it. Among the things I did was use a saturated paper towel with cleaner (alcohol and/or lacquer thinner) run through between the rollers. And the back edge of a disposable knife blade as a scraper. I worked great afterwards. Reminds me of fixing printers that wouldn't feed. Just parking this here for the next person(s) looking for an answer. I left my Conturo on, sitting on a table and me on a bucket with a headlamp looking up. YMMV.
