I've recently been working in a few nursing homes that are almost ready to be opened, now on UK building sites pretty much all corded tools have to be 110 volts and when the site is in full swing theres 110 cables all about the place and running an extractor is pretty easy.
But, the power that comes from the wall sockets is 240 volts so when the site is about finished we have to either have 240 volt tools (no way am I buying 240 tools for work when its only for a few days use) or carry a big heavy transformer about.

Enter the as yet fictional cordless CT SYS vac.
It could be sold in any market with only charger changes, very mobile indeed and doesn't matter if theres mains power or not.

Handy for those jobs where your going round drilling fixings for fire extinguishers or whatever.
Even though I already have a CTM 26, I think Id buy one were it available...

If it was a hybrid; ran off any combination of 15v and/or 18v batteries just as the TSC55 can, or mains power, AND could charge them when on AC power that would be awesome .

Just think how many people with 15V or 18V tools would want one. For me the only 15V tool I have is my T15+3 so those batteries don't see as much use as the batteries for the TSC55 or the cordless Carvex. If there were such a vac then I could leave three chargers back in the shop and reduce the bulk of my kit when working away from the shop.

And don't forget to include BlueTooth for auto start/stop.

I have a CT Sys and would gladly pony up for an 18v version.

+1 on the want list.

The only downside will be trying to get it back from my wife who already loves the corded version for her car cleaning.

Amongst my array of extractors, I have a Makita 36 volt extractor that is more or less dedicated to the plunge saw.
The saw and extractor are bluetooth and a great combo for site work, the extractor, although powerful enough, is nothing like my CTM Midis and 26’s though.

I would like to have seen a cordless/corded option. Makita do a 36 volt extractor that can also be mains powered but, it’s not bluetooth, which is a bit odd?

If Festool released a good cordless Mini/Midi I’d be interested.

Yup, CT-Sys vac that was cordless would be great!

Of course I would love it if they produced a cordless  using one or more 18 volt batteries/corded 110 volt/240 volt hybrid with a built in charger for my 18 volt batteries, while I'm on a roll mebbe a bluetooth/DAB radio on it as well.
Realistically I reckon I've got a better chance of copping off with Cate Blanchett and winning the lottery on the same day so I'll just say I want the cordless vac.

Oh yeah, bluetooth class M cordless CT SYS vac though eh?

This could/ would be the tool that would push me into the Festool drills, Jigsaw, radio, lights ect.  DeWalt has gotten a bunch of my money because of all the tools on their platform. Cordless blowers, vacs, miter saws, even routers. Cutting the cord is getting more and more common on jobsites. Having the CT-Sys on battery power would be fantastic.
