cordless drills

I am sure that Festool devised their own standard to maintain the quality of what gets plugged into their Centrotec chucks but they have not closed the door to normal bits. They provide a Centrotec ended magnetic bit holder which I use for 60% of the time. The percentage would be less but I am doing my best to preserve my Centrotec ended bits and use up the box loads of normal bits that I have in every other drawer of the workshop.

In the build up to the first Gulf War nobody knew if the UK would get involved. Jokingly we all said that the surest indicator would be if desert coloured paint arrived in Germany (where most of the British troops were at that time). That is exactly what happened, probably 4 days before any official announcement. Now, I reckon that when someone spots Festool producing impact quality bits then the impact driver will be announced shortly after !

Yes it is funny...
Do they but the bits or make them?

Good point - I think someone has already told us that they buy them (it was in another thread a while back - Garry will tell us). Was it Wera or Wira ?
